Participants will learn about how and where to refer their patients who use substances to life saving services.  \nAdvancing sexual health services through technology and innovation – GetaKit\, Sex it Smart and more!\nNovember 6\, 2024 | 12:00 – 13:00\nThis session focuses on providing comprehensive sexual health services in primary care. Information on client self-collected gonorrhea and chlamydia testing and lab-based testing for HIV\, syphilis\, hepatitis C will be covered. Discussion of HIV testing options through anonymous or client collected self-tests. Information on how to receive no cost STBBI treatment options at your clinics. In addition\, we will discuss the OPH sexual health programs available – STBBI testing; low cost/no cost contraception and free condoms – with services provided in a fixed setting\, mobile outreach\, mailout and more.       \nACCREDITATION\nThis one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development for up to 3.0 Mainpro+ credits (1 credit per webinar).
