If you are external to the University of Ottawa\, Faculty of Medicine and are interested in this program\, please contact cpd@uottawa.ca. \n \nCourse Description:\nEssentials for Academic Leadership is a series of 5 workshops aimed at providing clinicians and non-clinicians with tools to successfully lead and manage teams. \nParticipants will develop an understanding and skills of how to:\nLead a process rather than manage it\nManage various types of team members effectively and deal with conflict\nGet the most out of team members and keep them motivated\nIntroduce and manage change \nParticipants will also be apprised of legal implications and emerging trends as it relates to managing team members. Completion of the program will be acknowledged by a certificate in leadership from the Office of Continuing Professional Development. \nRegistration Details\nEarly bird rate ends July 19\, 2024 – register early and save 80% (course valued at $3\,000)!
