This course is intended to provide family physicians and other health-care providers with relevant and recent information about approaches to HIV prevention and the management of patients who are living with HIV. This course is a 3-hour event and consists of 4 presentations tailored towards family physicians, pharmacists and nurses. The presenters are experienced HIV Specialists who currently work in The Division of Infectious Diseases at The Ottawa Hospital.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development.
