Current Trends in Orthopaedics
September 27 – October 3, 2026
Alsace, France
In Person Program
We are delighted to share some exciting news: our 2026 edition of Current Trends in Orthopaedics will take place in the heart of Alsace, France, from September 27 to October 3, 2026.
This event has come to represent a rare and exceptional combination of cutting-edge continuing medical education and carefully crafted travel experiences. With each edition, we aim to raise the bar—and 2026 will be no exception.
For our home base, we’ve chosen the Hôtel A La Cour d’Alsace in the picturesque town of Obernai. Framed by vineyards to the west and the Rhine to the east, Obernai is as charming as it is well situated. The hotel offers 50 beautifully appointed rooms, two restaurants, a cozy bar, a peaceful garden, spa facilities, and an indoor pool—all right in the lively town center, surrounded by cafés, wine bars, bakeries, and boutiques.
Our cycling routes will mostly follow scenic, dedicated paths that wind through Alsace’s renowned vineyards, and we’ll also ride sections of the legendary Route des Vins d’Alsace, linking some of the region’s most beautiful towns. Hiking trails will take us higher into the hills, offering panoramic views and a deeper connection to the landscape – more details can be found on our itinerary page.
Culinary delights will, of course, be a highlight. Alsace is a food lover’s paradise, boasting the highest density of Michelin-starred restaurants in France. But just as appealing are the rustic winstübs—small, family-run eateries serving local specialties like choucroute, baeckeoffe, quenelles, tarte flambée, spaetzle, and, of course, the region’s exceptional wines.
We remain committed to delivering a world-class educational experience. Expect expert-led sessions, dynamic discussions, and timely, relevant topics that are as engaging as they are essential. That’s our promise to you.
These opportunities are rare, and space will be limited. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and our recent programs have all reached capacity quickly—with extensive waitlists.
If you’re interested in joining us, please complete the sign-up form with your details. Our travel partners at Arts & Travel will follow up to confirm your place and provide next steps.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Alsace for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
